King Congregation
Led by Ben Lawless, one of Atlanta’s most unique musicians, King Congregation is always experimental, never easy to pin down and often so far under the radar that you sometimes wonder if they are still around. With effortless guitar picking and keyboards recalling some of the finer moments of Brazil’s Tropicalia’s movement, the personality of the band may most closely resemble the wit and bizzareness of Frank Zappa, but this will be the band’s first appearance in quite some time, so there is no telling what to expect.
